What are your contributions to the team?

  • Support the execution of laboratory tests and analyses in accordance with established procedures, quality standards, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve departmental objectives while fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and apply knowledge of Bombardier’s standards, processes, and best practices.
  • Record, analyze, and document test results, preparing clear and accurate basic technical reports.
  • Plan and organize assigned activities to ensure the timely completion of daily tasks.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing processes, quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving low-complexity technical issues under the guidance of experienced personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures, quality requirements, and applicable regulations.

How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge and experience

Mandatory: Be in the final semester of a Bachelor’s degree program or have graduated from university within the last 12 months.

  • Hold or be pursuing a degree in Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous laboratory experience working with a variety of materials is preferred.
  • Demonstrate an aptitude for and interest in laboratory specimen preparation and testing activities.
  • Be familiar with the use of measurement instruments and laboratory equipment.
  • Have the ability and willingness to learn and perform laboratory testing procedures.
  • Possess the ability to communicate in basic English.
  • Have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, including the use of pivot tables and macros.
