What are your contributions to the team?
- You will lead the unionized operational staff at your workstation.
- You will define the work plan for the second shift based on planning requirements.
- You will ensure that the work plan during the shift is carried out in compliance with safety and quality rules and within productivity targets.
- You will plan short- and medium-term activities for production employees, set clear objectives, and provide instructions to the team.
- You will manage resources to complete assignments, production volume, and resolve issues within budget requirements, established procedures, and deadlines.
- You will provide direct training to your team, deliver feedback, and implement corrective and preventive actions. You will be responsible for the team’s performance, safety, development, engagement, and compliance with the Internal Work Regulations (RIT).
- In your daily work, you will proactively ensure that all production activities are carried out safely, identify potential risks, and develop action plans to prevent them. You will also ensure that products are manufactured according to established quality requirements.
- You will coordinate team activities, standard times, tools, and any other variables to meet the production schedule within the budgeted hours.
- You will be responsible for achieving and improving key performance indicators (KPIs) in your assigned areas by using the continuous improvement system.
- You will analyze production and process issues to develop plans that estimate the required resources (people, tools, and equipment) for manufacturing products.
- You will investigate, evaluate, and recommend changes in production, systems, equipment, and any other resources that can maximize your area’s production capacity.
- You will promote Continuous Improvement and teamwork in collaboration with support areas.
What do you need to succeed in this role? Skills, knowledge, and experience
- You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the aeronautical manufacturing sector.
- You have at least 3 years of experience leading a team.
- You have an acceptable level of English to establish basic conversation.
- You have communication skills in order to benefit the development of activities and teamwork.
