What are your contributions to the team?
- Adapts method of communication and content appropriate to the situation and your audience.
- Leverages respectful and professional relationships with suppliers and internal network to achieve objectives.
- Defines and influences inventory level strategy per MRP relevant product family.
- PFEP (Plan For Every Part): Optimizes the communication and purchasing structures with supplier ( PO structure, purchasing order strategy, etc.).
- Defines appropriate inventory and purchasing strategies and influence change management implementation plans accordingly.
- Analyses and optimizes portfolio spend and sourcing strategies (PIR or OA) in collaboration with the procurement team.
- Forecasts BOM costs in accordance with applicable contracts, and influences change authority budget to minimize budget delta for approval.
- Proactively anticipates quality impacts, identifies repetitive trends, supports SQP team with obtaining and implementing supplier corrective action plans and disclosure letters.
- Coordinates complex/major production change projects with internal and external collaborators/stakeholders as required.
- Identifies opportunities from contracts and proactively advise procurement team of all non-compliance that can lead to claims or chargeback.
- Leads/Supports contract negotiation and creation (supply BOM, consumption, PN, etc.).
- Define causes and analyze possible solutions to provide recommendations.
- Autonomously drive problem-solving in their own specialty field.
How to thrive in this role?
- You must have a degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Management Business, International Trades or relevant field and/or related experience.
- You must have at least 5 years of experience as a Direct Buyer.
- You must have an intermediate-advanced level of Excel.
- You must have an advanced level of English and be able to hold a fluent conversation.
- You must possess the following three interpersonal skills: analytical skills, teamwork, and negotiation.
