Methods Agent (Fabricated Metal Parts)

In this role, you will be required to:
• Manage change‑management activities up to the delivery of the first unit, and ensure adherence to the product development schedule with suppliers for the commodity — external manufacturing.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure customer satisfaction while optimizing quality, timing, and costs for the organization
• Manage and influence suppliers to ensure the achievement of on‑time delivery objectives for parts at the best possible cost
• Travel to supplier sites to support and validate the manufacturing methods of our parts according to Bombardier requirements
• Participate in cost‑reduction initiatives according to established objectives
• Identify and participate in improvement projects (Kaizen/Workshops, Deep Dives) as well as maintain and develop the business relationship with the supplier base
• Work closely with logistics planners to meet production requirements

How to thrive in this role?

As the ideal candidate:

• You have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the manufacturing of machined metal parts and/or sheet metal parts, or as a Methods Agent who has supported the production of such parts.
• You have experience with Catia V5, SolidWorks, and TeamCenter.
• You have experience in outside processing (OP) — an asset.
• Experience in the aerospace industry is an asset.
• You have experience with SAP.
• You possess a strong ethical sense and are customer‑focused. You have good analytical, planning, and problem‑solving skills, as well as strong interpersonal abilities.
• You can work in both Spanish and English (required). 
• You are available to travel to our Mexican suppliers at any time, and you have a Canadian or U.S. visa for travel — an asset.
• You can work on-site at our Querétaro facility at least two (2) days per week when not travelling for work, sometimes more, as per the applicable policy in place.
