What are your contributions to the team?

  • Drive the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of manufacturing guidelines across all sites.
  • Serve as the primary technical authority in a strategic domain (S4/Hana, NX/Teamcenter, BPM, BM, Engineering Management Changes, etc.).
  • Lead cross-functional integration initiatives to ensure alignment with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and digital system guidelines.
  • Oversee governance, planning, and communication for complex, multi-functional projects executed under limited supervision.
  • Lead and deliver business-plan initiatives and projects supporting strategic operational objectives.
  • Make key decisions impacting multi-site manufacturing processes, standards, and systems.
  • Champion innovation, transparency, and continuous improvement within the Core Methods function.
  • Conduct advanced problem analyses, deep dives, feasibility studies, and risk/cost/impact assessments.
  • Define, approve, and maintain standardized processes, technical documentation, and manufacturing procedures across Bombardier sites.
  • Lead, guide, and develop a team of Methods Core experts; monitor performance indicators and drive productivity.
  • Align Core Methods resources with stakeholders across engineering, quality, operations, and corporate functions to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Represent the Core Methods team in strategic forums, advocating for team interests and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

How to thrive in this role?

  • You hold a university degree in Manufacturing / Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent College degree in Aircraft Manufacturing.
  • You have 7+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing; plus knowledge in varied aircraft manufacturing disciplines and integration.
  • New product development experience is an asset.
  • Demonstrated expertise in aerostructures, final assembly, and finishing processes in multi-site environments
  • Advanced problem-solving, diagnostic, research, and evaluation skills; able to lead critical issue resolution.
  • Expert-level ability to develop, approve, and maintain technical documents (BM, BPM, Methods Alerts, governance tools, etc.).
  • Strong capability to lead and influence cross-functional teams and SMEs to achieve the project’s desired results.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives, implementing best practices, and enforcing standardization.
  • Ability to make high-impact decisions in complex, multi-functional and multi-site environments.
  • You have knowledge in the engineering and manufacturing processes of the aerospace industry.
  • You are result-driven, and enthusiastic with strong work ethic. You have strong communication skills and can easily tailor your communication to suit the audience.
  • You strive for harmonious cohesive teamwork.
  • You have knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
