The Fleet Maintenance, Electronics and Software Engineering Manager is responsible for all engineering activities relative to Fleet Maintenance, Electronics and Software within Services Execution, France/Benelux/Maghreb. The job holder manages a team of engineers that delivers the engineering scope (both projects and bids) for the different Service Lines business.



Provides leadership and direction to the staff of engineers within the team. Ensures adherence to engineering processes to provide high quality engineering services that meet customer’s schedule and expectation.

Fleet Maintenance scope :

Maintenance optimisation (tasks, documentation, maintenance periodicity extension,…)

Resolution of technical problems related to the maintenance execution

Ensure the ECM process application for engineering part on all projects

Electronics and Software scope :

Electronics system engineering

Software developments and/or updates

Test bench design and type testing

Obsolescence management.


Communicates and enforces the engineer’s responsibility for tracking their progress and adherence to budgeted hours through task planning.

Develops action plans and coordinates resources to address and resolve problems as needed.


Meeting the financial, schedule and technical requirements of the projects.


Creates and implements plans to improve employee skills, motivation and engagement. Management and development of relevant skills (workforce planning, performance management, career development, succession planning and recruitment).


Optimizes communication and relationships with customers and other functions. Continuous optimization of processes/tools/behaviors by taking into account business requirements, customer needs, technical innovations, and new market conditions.



Engineering degree in a Electro-Mechanics or eqivalant

Previous experience in a relevant role, ideally in transportation industry (railway, automotive, aerospace etc.) or a similar technical/engineering industry;

Leadership skills

- Ability to travel for customer

Language skills: English and France at advanced/business fluent level is mandatory
