What are your contributions to the team?

The Customer Liaison Pilot (CLP) provides an added layer of support within the Customer Response Center while acting as a key link between Bombardier’s internal teams, customers, and external partners, bringing strong operational expertise and perspective. The CLP also supports the Flight Department and Demo Team in Flight Operations, along with other assigned activities. In addition, the CLP addresses specific customer requirements and contributes to Bombardier activities such as Advisory Meetings and Maintenance & Operations (M&O) events.The role includes the development, maintenance, and review of flight manuals and customer-facing documentation (e.g., Advisory Wires, FONS, and articles), as well as active participation in regulatory initiatives, operational evaluations, and training programs.Furthermore, the CLP promotes best practices and shares operational insights through presentations at Maintenance & Operations (M&O) Conferences, Advisory Committees, Training Centre briefings, and other industry forums.

 

In your role, you will:

  • Act as the main point of contact for our operators on operational and pilot-related technical queries for the Challenger 600 series and the Challenger 300 series.
  • Be the company Operational Focal for the Challengers series aircraft.
  • Define, establish and promote Bombardier Operational Standards.
  • Provide direct support to customers and coordinate responses for queries with internal groups (Engineering, Programs, Production).
  • Provide operational expertise to other internal departments (Operational Evaluation Team, Customer Response Center, In-Service Engineering group, Field Service Representatives).
  • Provide pilot support for internal operational flights and for customer missions such as Functionality & Confidence flights.
  • Participate in or steer key projects in areas such as operational evaluations, operational safety practices or enhanced customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in all Challengers Series Advisory Committee meetings and act as moderator for Flight Operations sub-committee activities.
  • Present special topics at Advisory Committees, Maintenance and Operators Conferences, and trade shows (NBAA, EBACE).

How to thrive in this role?

  • You hold FAA and Transport Canada ATP licenses, with a minimum of 2,500 hours of multi-crew flight time.
  • You possess a valid Class 1 Medical certificate.
  • You have flight experience on one or both of the following aircraft types: Challenger 600 series and Challenger 300 series.
  • You have experience in international operations and modern, high-technology cockpit environments is an asset.
  • You have prior experience as a pilot in a corporate or airline setting.
  • You have served as a Training Captain or Examiner is an asset.
  • You hold a bachelor’s degree is an asset.
  • You demonstrate strong English communication skills; French is an asset.
  • You have excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • You hold a valid passport, as international travel may be required.
  • You are eligible to obtain an airport security pass.

Although the position is predominantly a weekday Monday to Friday schedule you may be required to work during weekends and holidays.
