About the role

This role is tasked to provide accurate, timely financial Information, working on adding value to the business, while ensuring strong and effective controls are in place. Working with the Head of Project Controlling and managing a small team of people

YOUR TASKS

• Responsible for the integrity of the Project Portfolio Financial Information; ensuring quality and timely information is delivered in line with Group and Regional/Divisional expectations.

• Monitoring all Project Costs and addressing variances for all active divisions or business units;

• Responsible for the budgeting and forecasting activity of all aspects of the Project Portfolio.

• Recommend possible courses of action to mitigate risk or to achieve opportunities;

• Review and challenge cash planning (incl. action plans & follow up);

• Prepare and update monthly reports and presentation in project review meetings;

• Follow-up hedging & bonds requirements for the project and assess impact on EAC;

• Responsible for coordinating the Long term functional forecasts and Estimate at Completion on Projects;

• Be a Business Partner for the Head of Project Controlling, Project Directors, and the Project Core Team Members.

• Attend Project Core Team meetings as required and all relevant project meetings.

• Secure on time delivery of information to the various stakeholders e.g. Corporate, Group, Division/Region, Local Management;

• Interface and liaise with Customer Finance organization;

• Follow-up on customer invoicing and ensure timely collection of invoices.

Qualifications

• Degree and relevant professional related qualification;

• Previous experience in a similar role, working in an international environment;

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite;

• Knowledge of ERP systems and SAP;

• Good understanding of Finance/Controlling processes and tools;

• Strong communication and influencing skills.
