In your role, you will
• Manage the internal and external procurement of parts, the flow of materials to meet the appropriate level of service to our customers, and the inventory level requirements within budget constraints
• Place Purchase Orders and administrate portfolio activities related to invoicing and PO pricing issues
• Lead projects with a broad scope in own discipline mid to long-term in focus
• Solve moderately complex problems in own specialty area
• Prepare and present issues, findings, solutions to management
• Communicate and build relationships with internal and external vendors
• Implement corrective action plans of increased complexity (inventory, COGS variances) to address KPIs discrepancies.
As our ideal candidate
• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Industrial Management, or a Technical College Degree in the same field combined with relevant experience
• You have 2-5 years of experience in logistics
• You have good multi-tasking and prioritizing skills
• You have the ability to work under pressure
• You have good knowledge of the Microsoft Suite applications, proficient in Excel and MS Access
• You hold a APICS certification (an asset)
• You speak and write French and English
• You also have some knowledge of PowerBI, Microsoft Access, Data analytic tools and SAP would be an asset.
