Professional, Engineering – Structure design – Advanced Structure
What are your contributions to the team?
- Develop structure and system installation conceptual layouts for the complete Airframe on new and existing aircraft programs.
- Provide technical solutions to resolve design or manufacturing issues on structure design (metallic & composite) and/or system installation design.
- Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams: aerodynamics, stress, systems architecture, etc.
- Provide status for project and functional management.
How to thrive in this role?
- You have a technologist or bachelor’s degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering or aerospace technical field plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in aerospace or related industry.
- You must possess a strong knowledge of aircraft structures and/or systems installation: configuration, preliminary sizing, design for manufacturing, detail design (sheet metal, machined parts, piping, component assembly, GD&T), material and processes, weight control and industry design standards.
- You have a strong familiarity in aerospace manufacturing processes and capabilities.
- You have a strong knowledge of CATIA V5. Teamcenter is an asset.
- You are an energetic person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, have a high sense of commitment, are willing to accept responsibilities and act independently in a high-pressure partner/supplier team.
- You are open-minded, curious, and enthusiastic. You are eager to develop and learn.
- You are autonomous, result-driven with strong work ethics.
- You are looking for a harmonious and cohesive teamwork environment. You value the sharing of knowledge between team members.
- You have good analytical and problem-solving skills.
