As our ideal candidate,
- Strong analytical thinking, problem solving ability, and decision making initiative
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to business stakeholders
- 3-5 years of experience in Software Development, with additional experience in AI/ML Engineering or Operations Research.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related technical field.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, PySpark, REST APIs, and full stack integration.
- Hands-on experience implementing ML models, including time series forecasting, predictive analytics, image recognition, and NLP.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms—preferably Microsoft Azure (Databricks, AML, AI Foundry, App Services, AKS, Blob Storage, etc.).
- Proficiency with Agile methodologies, Azure DevOps, and application lifecycle management tools.
- Knowledge of scripting in Linux or PowerShell.
- Bonus: Experience with optimization techniques (e.g., linear programming, mixed integer programming) using tools such as OR Tools, CPLEX, etc.
- You are fluent in English (written and spoken), French and/or other languages would be an asset.
