What are your contributions to the team?

  • Work in collaboration with HR teams and payroll on the ongoing administration of our group insurance plans in Canada.
  • Participate to the annual renewal process in Canada.
  • Administer retirees group insurance plans.
  • Support our disability management team.
  • Respond to questions and provide advice to HR teams and union representatives.
  • Support HR Teams in the resolution of grievances related to their benefits.
  • Ensure resolution of cases related to group insurance plans escalated to our team.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of processes, methodologies and tools related to the management of our benefits plans.
  • Collaborate with external consultants and insurers.

How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in human resources, actuarial science or the equivalent.
  • You have between eight (8) to twelve (12) years of experience in the administration of group insurance plans in a consulting firm, insurance company, head office or multinational company.
  • You have a good knowledge of the group insurance market. 
  • You demonstrate excellent analytical skills and you are detailed oriented.
  • You are able to manage priorities and work under minimal supervision.
  • You show initiative and good judgment.
  • You have excellent Excel skills.
  • You have excellent oral and written communications skills in English and French.
