Description générale

As a member of the Global Compensation team, you will play a key role in managing, planning and executing all tasks relating to the annual compensation processes such as salary reviews, short- and long-term incentives and promotions as well as associated policies. You will participate in the search for best practices in compensation and executive compensation in all of our countries where Bombardier is present, and you will collaborate with a wide range of experts from various fields.

What are your contributions to the team?

  • Recommend compensation strategies to attract and retain the best talent.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with stakeholders across the organization to establish trust and credibility.
  • Participate in the development, implementation and governance of compensation and executive compensation policies and programs.
  • Participate in salary surveys to obtain and analyze market data (union members, employees, executives) to verify the company's positioning in relation to our competitors.
  • Participate in LTI (Long-Term Incentive) plan activities: allocation and vesting, communication to participants, supplier management, coordination with payroll and finance departments, preparation of executive statements in line with share ownership guidelines.
  • Participate in the development of the Compensation section of the Management Proxy Circular.
  • Prepare share ownership guidelines statements for senior executives.
  • Develop project plans and collaborate with team to support and execute annual compensation processes (annual salary review, short- and long-term incentive, promotion).

How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:

  • You have a bachelor's degree in business administration (HR management, finance), actuarial science or any other related discipline.
  • You have between two (2) and five (5) years' relevant experience in compensation in a consulting firm, head office or multinational company. 
  • You have experience in the annual compensation process (annual salary review, short- and long-term incentive plans, promotions).
  • You have experience in compensation in Canada, the United States and internationally, as well as in executive compensation. 
  • You have experience in designing sales plans and LTI plans. 
  • You have an excellent ability to manage global projects and improve processes.
  • You pay close attention to detail.
  • You have excellent analytical skills, synthesizing ideas and presenting them clearly.
  • You are capable of delivering high-quality work to tight deadlines.
  • You show initiative and good judgment.
  • You have an excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written, and are a good communicator.
  • You have an excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
