What are your contributions to the team?
- Proactively identify, develop and implement communications plans and strategies to amplify sales initiatives and Marketing campaigns for Bombardier’s business jets.
- Create communications documents, including press releases, key message documents, stakeholder messaging and speeches that help the company, and its leaders, disseminate Bombardier’s brand values and industry leadership.
- Support Bombardier’s Investor Relations and Finance teams as a business partner, by working on various communications initiatives and announcements, including the quarterly publication of the company’s financial results.
- Manage the relationship with the company’s media monitoring supplier, oversee the licensing contracts related to distribution, and act as a super user, coaching peers on the various tools and trends.
- Proactively build relationships with international media, monitor and analyze coverage, and distribute reports to stakeholders as required.
- Respond to media requests and establish positive relationships with multiple and varied stakeholders to support an all-inclusive communications approach.
- Support the adherence to corporate organizational culture, strategies and procedures to connect to the company’s objectives and priorities.
How to thrive in this role?
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in Communications/Journalism/Public Relations or a related discipline.
- You have at least 5 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations or related discipline with experience in media relations preferred (experience with public company financial disclosure processes an asset).
- You have excellent spoken and written communications skills in English and French.
- You have demonstrated initiative as well as excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- You have a proven ability to work calmly in a fast-paced, complex environment and adapt to changing stakeholder requirements, ambiguous situations or crises with poise.
- You can easily overcome obstacles/problems and achieve targets.
