Team Description

The sustainability team is responsible for the governance, the strategy and the disclosures related to sustainability. Collaborative in nature, the team works cross-functionally with all departments in order to integrate sustainability into the social, corporate and operational fabric of the company.  New sustainability regulations will present opportunities to develop indispensable knowledge and competencies, which means that the advisor role will evolve over time.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Support the team in a wide range of projects such as the environmental, social and governance (ESG) report review, data releases, responding to external forms, organizing sustainability initiatives and more.

• Manage the sustainability data collection process using the data management tool and ensure the quality of the data, by:

• working closely with the internal audit team to ensure the integrity of the data published

• working cross-functionally with the concerned departments to optimize the collection process

• taking charge of the continuous improvement of the data collection process in connection with new regulations

• Manage the process of identifying and managing sustainability and climate-related risks and opportunities by:

• producing materiality analyses in connection with new regulations

• producing analyses based on climate scenarios in collaboration with the experts in the company

• working cross-functionally on risk and opportunity management

How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:

  • You have 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in sustainable development.
  • You hold a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in sustainable development, social economic development, environment or a related field.
  • You have an excellent command of French and English, both oral and written.
  • You hold a strong knowledge of sustainability disclosure standards.
  • You have project management skills.
  • You have strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with different teams in a large company on a variety of topics.
