What are your contributions to the team?

  • Analyze, research and propose unique, innovative and attractive activities, experiences or events that will meet the objectives of our marketing and sales campaigns, while considering regional and social factors.
  • Initiate and constantly improve our event communication strategies, both internally and externally.
  • Research, analyze, select and manage suppliers and partners for our events;
  • Plan and perfectly execute small size events such as; Montreal site visits, press events, industry events, conferences and online webinars, as well as exclusive experiences for our clients.
  • Ensure a consistent and rigorous application of the Bombardier brand throughout the event planning process;
  • Provide constant support to internal and external event attendees.
  • Prepare and communicate essential logistical information (hotel, transport, agenda, contact, etc.) in a structured and efficient manner.
  • Coordinate the creation and sending of digital invitations, create RSVP pages and manage event registrations.
  • Rigorously follow deadlines and quickly communicate any variance to the plan
  • Harmoniously orchestrate all elements of the event, while having constant attention to detail.
  • Provide ongoing support to participants.
  • React quickly to any last-minute changes and be an efficient problem solver.
  • Lead weekly governance meetings.
  • Monitor actions and deliverables with members of the Marketing team or any other collaborator and report any problem that may impact the delivery of the project (event).
  • Prepare and provide regular project updates and progress report.
  • Build and maintain a realistic event budget that is in line with the initial allocation.
  • Ensure regular and rigorous monitoring of expenses, invoice payment, credit card reconciliation, and any other related tasks.

How to thrive in this role?

•    You have one (1) to two (2) years of relevant experience; 
•    You hold a University degree specializing in Marketing or equivalent experience;
•    You have strong English oral and written communication skills; 
•    You have the ability to lift up to 20lbs of materials and are able to walk and stand for long periods of time;
•    You can travel frequently: 15-25% (both domestic & international);
•    You have a valid passport;
•    Self-sufficient, you are detail-oriented and have a strategic mind;
•    You respect timelines and can manage many projects, while remaining calm in a fast-paced environment;
•    You bring passion and enthusiasm to your work and can motivate a team to generate results;
•    You set clear targets while tracking and reporting on progress;
•    You like challenges and demonstrate initiative and creativity;
•    You are eager to learn and develop yourself.
