What are your contributions to the team?

  • List, centralize, document, harmonize, and improve the business processes of the programs function by working closely with Engineering, Procurement,Methods, Customer Service, Finance, etc.;
  • Analyze, identify, propose and implement improvements to programs processes;
  • Organize and lead process improvement workshops, Value Stream Mapping, and lead Project Governance meetings
  • Champion process improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate and participate to the update of the Bombardier Manuals (BM);
  • Define a master plan for the development and revision of the Bombardier Manuals (BM) and processes for the programs function. Implement and execute this plan;
  • Support users in the Program team during the deployment phase of new tools and processes;
  • Manage the programs department faculty of learning and support development of faculty roadmap:
  • Develop a course curriculum that supports the programs analysts in their progression and in the development of their competencies;
  • Develop training modules and train Engineering Program Analysts/Specialists.

How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience :

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering or related field;
  • You have a strong understanding of programs processes;
  • You have a minimum of 8 years of experience in programs, continuous improvement, or training management in a technical area;
  • Working experience in the aerospace industry is an asset;
  • You have experience in project management as well as knowledge of aircraft development cycle;
  • You have good presentation skills and are attentive to details;
  • You are organized, a vector of change and focused on solutions;
  • You have good computer skills in a Windows environment: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Teams, etc.;
  • You have a logical yet flexible mindset, show initiative, and demonstrate overview/detailed approaches;
  • You are able to work in English and French on a daily basis, both written and spoken, including when facilitating training.
