What are your contributions to the team?
- Lead Strategic & Market Analyses: Conduct regional economic, political, workforce, and competitive assessments, perform market attractiveness, demand sizing, and competitive benchmarking, recommend expansion priorities based on data-driven insights.
- Business Case Development: Build full financial models to support future expansion project business plan including ROI, NPV/IRR, and scenario modeling. validate assumptions with Finance, Operations, Legal, HR, and other stakeholders. prepare approval materials for Leadership and the Board.
- Project & Program Management: Support or lead end-to-end execution of expansion initiatives, manage project plans, governance routines, project budgets and timelines, risk registers, and mitigation strategies, coordinate alignment among internal cross-functional teams. Provide regular governance to senior executives to drive decision making and obtain senior executive alignment and approvals
- Commercial Structuring & Negotiations: Support processes to obtain competitive and quality offers (RFPs, RFQs) and support commercial, contractual, and financial negotiations. You will participate in development and review of leases, agreements, and contracts with external stakeholders such as contractors, financiers, partners, suppliers, consultants, airport management, etc.
- Construction Oversight & Governance: You will lead construction governance, establishing a structured oversight framework that ensures full alignment between all internal and external stakeholders involved in facility design and construction. This includes coordinating internal teams to translate operational requirements into clear design specifications. You will collaborate closely with architects, contractors, developers, and our customer representatives to monitor progress, validate milestones, and proactively address risks. You will ensure construction remains on time, on budget, and compliant with Bombardier specifications by driving regular governance routines, leading design and progress reviews, escalating issues when required, and maintaining transparency across all stakeholders through disciplined reporting and communication.
- Operational Readiness: Lead full implementation plan process to ensure facility is ready to start operations once construction is completed. Coordinate with all key workstream to support hiring, certifications, tooling, IT setup, processes, and compliance readiness and work with site teams to ensure alignment to timelines and budgets.
- Strategic Aftermarket Initiatives: Lead international projects such as organic expansions, and strategic partnerships to optimize Bombardier’s maintenance footprint capacity and capabilities, from strategic assessment to completion
How to thrive in this role?
• You hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Management, Business Administration or related field
• Master’s degree in Strategy, Finance, Project Management, or MBA preferred
• You have at least 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in project management, finance, strategy and/or management consulting, or a related discipline
• You have at least 2 years of relevant experience in business aircraft industry
• You have strong project management skills
• You have good negotiation skills
• You have experience in developing business cases and have a good financial acumen
• You have excellent problem solving skills
• You have the ability to align and drive stakeholders towards required decision points
• You are assertive and results-oriented and demonstrate leadership
• You have strong financial and analytical skills, including financial modelling
• You have experience in managing and aligning cross-functional stakeholders in a large company (legal, HR, finance, procurement, operations, etc.)
• You have experience in preparing presentations and presenting to senior executives
• You have excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• You have a self-starter and can work independently as well as in a team
• You can manage multiple priorities simultaneously and work well under pressure
• You demonstrate strategic thinking as well as strong business acumen
• You are advanced in MS Office suite (specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• You are available to travel 10-30% of the time (as required)
• International experience is preferred
