In your role, you will

  • Support the master scheduling analysts’ team to standardize the official documents, improve the tools in Excel and review some key processes.
  • Coordinates the production master plans of his programs and sectors according to the various constraints.
  • Develop master production scenarios/plans of his programs and sectors considering the manufacturing strategies and constraints, the sales variations, and the unforeseen events.
    • Evaluate the impact on the space, the labor, supply chain and other constraints.
    • Identify the risks of each of the scenarios and propose the most optimal scenario.    
  • Communicate the changes of the plan of his program and sectors.
  • Ensure the integrity of the data of the ERP system and other systems related to the different milestones of the master plan.
  • Control and measure the compliance of the master plan of his program and sectors using different performance indicators.
  • Support his program and his sectors in the design of recovery plans when necessary & problem solving. 
  • Participate in the governance of the production units.
  • Support and/or participate in project mandates to improve his sectors.

 

The master scheduling analyst contributes to the strategic planning of operations. He develops the schedules of his program and plant according to the capacities, constraints, and profitability objectives of the company. He analyzes complex situations in a demanding environment where he must make effective and structured decisions. He checks the compliance of the plan, communicates his analyses to his clients and supports them in the design of recovery plans.

As our ideal candidate

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in operations and logistics management, industrial engineering, or automated production engineering. 
  • You have at least five years of experience in the field of planning or industrial engineering, as well as solid experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • You are proficient in the MS Office suite, and you master Excel and Power Point.
  • You are organized, autonomous and able to manage your time effectively. 
  • You have advanced skills in analysis, planning and problem solving, as well as a good interpersonal skills.
  • You aim for results while being a good team player. 
  • You have excellent communication skills in French and English, both orally and in writing.
