Responsabilities :
- Document, track, analyze, and review the engineering team’s budget needs to ensure an accurate and up‑to‑date financial outlook.
- Prepare, lead, or support meetings aimed at collecting, consolidating, and sharing budget information with stakeholders.
- Plan and coordinate regular budget reviews with engineering leaders to ensure alignment with financial forecasts, clarify allocated budgets, and ensure compliance with budget commitments.
- Identify, assess, and communicate risks and opportunities that may influence financial forecasts or resource needs.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, practices, and tools related to budget planning, tracking, and control.
- The Analyst plays a key role in planning, monitoring, and optimizing the engineering team’s financial resources. This person acts as the central point of contact for collecting, analyzing, and communicating budget information to managers and internal stakeholders.
How to thrive in this role?
- You have at least 5 years of experience in finance, project management, or business administration, enabling you to successfully execute, optimize, and structure various mandates
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in finance, engineering, business administration, or a related field
- You demonstrate strong analytical skills, allowing you to interpret, diagnose, and synthesize complex data with rigor
- You show autonomy and strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, plan, and efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously
- You exercise natural leadership and are able to influence, mobilize, and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
- You are proficient in the Microsoft Office suite—particularly Excel and PowerPoint—to design and present professional analyses and reports
- You ideally have familiarity with SAP and Power BI (considered strong assets)
- You communicate comfortably in both French and English, orally and in writing, and are able to draft, present, and collaborate in both languages
