What are your contributions to the team?
- Define and document the roles, responsibilities and processes related to the Planning function.
- Develop, maintain and harmonize Planning processes, standards and practices across the various sites and programs.
- Ensure the governance of planning processes and their consistent application.
- Identify opportunities to eliminate non-value-added activities and improve operational efficiency.
- Participate in defining and executing the Planning function’s technology roadmap (IT Roadmap).
- Define business needs, write functional requirements and support the implementation of new solutions.
- Act as the functional focal point for Planning tools and ERP systems.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement digital solutions that support automation and process improvement.
- Collaborate with the various functions to ensure enterprise-wide alignment of transformation initiatives.
- Assess opportunities involving automation, artificial intelligence and advanced analytics tools.
- Develop and maintain the Planning function’s knowledge domain.
- Develop and maintain job profile matrices and competency matrices for the Planning community.
- Create and maintain a structured training document for new employees to facilitate onboarding and knowledge transfer.
How to thrive in this role?
- You have a minimum of five (5) years of professional experience as an analyst or project manager.
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in operations management, business administration, engineering or a related field.
- You demonstrate strong influential leadership and excellent stakeholder management skills.
- You demonstrate strong research and analytical skills, with a high degree of rigor and close attention to detail.
- You have experience managing process improvement and digital transformation projects.
- You have knowledge of the aerospace industry (an asset) or, alternatively, experience in a complex manufacturing environment (preferred).
- You can work in both French and English.
- A good understanding of production planning processes is considered an asset.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint and Visio.
- You can work on-site at one of our Montréal-area facilities at least two (2) days per week, and occasionally more, in accordance with the policy in effect.
