Team Description

The Organizational Learning team ensures our unionized workforce has the necessary skills to excel. Working with HR, Payroll, Recruitment, Employee Service Centers and other internal and external partners, we seamlessly integrate training programs into the company. We adapt to new regulations and industry standards, ensuring employees stay knowledgeable. Guided by professionals and mentors, the team fosters continuous improvement and growth.

 

As a Coordinator for the Incubator Onboarding Program, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the integration of new participants into the incubator program to transition them at the end of the program to unionized technical positions within our Montreal manufacturing plants. This program aims to provide comprehensive training, enabling participants to excel in their roles and contribute effectively to our operations.

What are your contributions to the team?

  • Act as a point of contact for new employees, during their initial training period through to integration into their workstations.
  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to provide the best experience for new employees.
  • Collaborate with various internal and external partners (Employee Service Center, Payroll, Recruitment, Organizational Learning, placement agencies, etc.) to ensure a steady influx of well-trained personnel.
  • Ensure a regular presence in the various initial training programs.
  • Lead weekly meetings related to the planning and follow-up of initial training programs.
  • Perform administrative tasks and coordinate all activities related to our initial training programs (pre-employment test, initial training schedule, site visit and arrival).
  • Produce reports and evaluations to facilitate decision-making.
  • Optimizing and documenting the integration processes to enhance training efficiency.
  • Any other related tasks.

How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:

  • You have a college diploma in human resources or administration.
  • You have three(3) to five (5) years of relevant experience in customer service ideally two in a unionized manufacturing environment.
  • You master the MS Office suite, particularly Excel (intermediate level).
  • You are comfortable managing diverse priorities, collaborating and working as part of a team.
  • You are flexible, proactive and have strong skills in managing a high volume.
  • You have excellent communication skills and are comfortable working in a team.
  • You are recognized for your customer service.
  • You are fluent in French and have a good level of English.
