What are your contributions to the team?
· Researching and reviewing applicable engineering documentation and other approved technical data from multiple sources
· Acting as the main liaison between our suppliers
· Provide reports and dashboards
· Establishing a continuous quality process based on established standards
· Providing support or information to internal (Engineering, Technical Support Group) and external clients
· Participating in the peer review process of SBs
· Adhering to the allocated budget for each supplier
· Ensuring financial transparency
How to thrive in this role?
· You have a college degree in aviation, aircraft maintenance, or the equivalent.
· You have at least ten (10) years of experience as a technical writer and five (5) years of technical experience related to aircraft.
· You can work with minimal supervision/in a hybrid work environment.
· You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in French and a good command of English, spoken and written. Practical knowledge of simplified English and procedure writing.
· Work experience reading engineering documents, including drawings, specifications, and a maintenance manual/publication in service.
· You have a good knowledge of Microsoft Word.
· You have a good knowledge of SGML creation (ArborText Adept Editor or Adobe FrameMaker).
· You are detail oriented.
· Able to interact well in a team.
· Able to work with urgent issues.
