What are your contributions to the team?
- Evolve the product DNA and shape the product of tomorrow in a way that is both progressive and consistent across Bombardier’s various product lines.
- Serve as the voice of design and innovation throughout the company.
- Lead large-scale strategic innovation projects at the executive level across the organization to ensure the long-term success of our aircraft platforms and sales.
- Collaborate effectively with senior leadership (SVPs, VPs) to develop effective long-term innovation strategies.
- Establish and lead effective governance and robust processes for innovation management.
- Develop new opportunities within the organization to accelerate the implementation of innovative solutions, including aligning multidisciplinary functions such as product strategy, procurement, engineering, and program management.
- Lead the strategic alignment of exploratory initiatives to anticipate market trends and identify elements that will elevate the cabin experience.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to the executive leadership team.
- Directly supervise a highly experienced aerospace team.
How to thrive in this role?
- You hold a university degree in engineering, industrial design, or a related field, or possess equivalent professional experience.
- You are a self-starter capable of identifying, creating, and executing strategic projects with minimal supervision.
- You are passionate about business aviation, design, innovation, emerging technologies, and the customer experience.
- You have over 15 years of experience in the aerospace industry; experience in aerospace innovation is an asset.
- You are a team player who can easily build a network and secure support from various functions within the organization.
- You demonstrate an ability to develop long-term strategic relationships with corporate decision-makers.
- You demonstrate effectiveness in identifying opportunities and improving business processes.
- You have a solid understanding of configuration management and change management principles and processes within a manufacturing environment.
- You possess excellent analytical skills and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- You are fluent in English and French.
