What are your contributions to the team?
Be responsible for a sector of operations while ensuring the alignment of the organization in the philosophy of the Bombardier Operational Excellence (BEO) system.
Coordinate the various production departments and functions that support the production groups.
Coordinate strategic and cost reduction initiatives.
Develop and implement regular reviews and governance with managers to ensure alignment in line with plant strategy and needs.
Participating in the preparation of team production planning schedules and ensuring liaison with the departments concerned.
Developing performance analysis tools and implementing the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) required to ensure the best possible performance.
Liaise with all sites involved in the Global aircraft program.
Strive for sound management of our human resources (unionized and salaried employees) at all levels.
Ensuring the continuous improvement of processes, using problem-solving processes.
Adhere to the defined financial budget.
Maintain a harmonious relationship with the various union stakeholders.
How to thrive in this role?
You have a university degree in aeronautics, engineering or operations management, or considerable experience that has enabled you to develop strong management skills.
You have more than ten years' experience in operations management in a unionized manufacturing environment, ideally in the aerospace sector.
You have demonstrated influence in a variety of multifunctional projects and have strong management, leadership and interpersonal skills.
You are familiar with the principles of value-added production.
You are recognized as a good communicator with the ability to mobilize employees.
You are results-oriented and have excellent organizational and priority management skills.
You are fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
