What are your contributions to the team?

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Engineering Professional to join our Aircraft Health Management System (AHMS) team as an integrator with rest of engineering development. In this role, you will support the development, implementation, and optimization of cutting-edge systems that monitor and analyze the health of our aircraft fleet. You will also liaise closely with digital teams to ensure seamless integration between hardware and software, fostering innovative solutions in real-time aircraft health monitoring.

 

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, develop, and enhance AHMS technologies on a new cutting edge program.
• Support the integration of hardware, software, and analytical tools for real-time and predictive maintenance solutions.
• Develop Technical Requirement Document (TRD) updates for AHMS
• Support trade studies when required 
• Identify data Available to system from ARINC 717 and 664 data buses 
• Create Interface Definition Document (IDD) of subset of data to send to ground   
• Confirm that the AHMU Processor can support Remote Parameter Display (RPD) requests, basic Edge Processing (filtering and file management algorithms), data transfer to meet expected timings and document in a Service Level Agreement (SLA), data compression, … 
• Do an investigation on data streaming as an option 
• Supervise and monitor the Onboard Maintenance System (OMS) design to ensure it meets customer support and AHMS requirements   
• Support the design of OMS interface to the AHMS ground system from the INSU 
• Support the integration of the INSU in-flight reporting to the BA infrastructure  
• Support the development and integration of the in-flight RPD functionality using AHMU   
• Support the development and integration of the CMA functionality using the AHMU  
• Support the design the LSAP crating and interface to Bombardier AHMU 
• Support the design the LSAP crating and interface for transfer to the aircraft 
• Provide JDP support for OMS, ECL and AHMS 
• Support the development of the Data Dictionary for the AHMS data 
• Support the development of the myMaintenance app interface to enable the data to be used easily for troubleshooting

How to thrive in this role?

• You have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• You have a strong understanding of at least few aircraft systems, especially Avionics and maintenance processes. 
• Fmiliarrity with systems engineering principles, Engineering Development Phases and tools such as FRACAS, reliability reports and such are definite assets.
• Bombardier Engineering experience is a definite asset.
• You have excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Working experience in a customer-facing role is a great asset.
• You have a team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
