What are your contributions to the team?
- Work within the Core Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) team to support the organization’s global environmental strategy.
- Manage the corporate GHG inventory (Scopes 1, 2, and 3) and maintain the associated methodologies, emission factors, and reporting rules.
- Ensure the quality, integrity, and governance of environmental data used for internal performance monitoring and external disclosures.
- Oversee the governance of global projects that impact the company’s sustainability objectives.
- Coordinate the preparation of ESG disclosures, environmental reports, and external verification or assurance activities.
- Develop and monitor environmental performance indicators and the company’s ESG targets.
- Provide analysis, recommendations, and strategic insights to improve the organization’s environmental performance.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the decarbonization strategy by identifying emission reduction opportunities.
- Monitor industry standards, regulations, and trends, and represent the company in working groups or external associations, as required.
How to thrive in this role?
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (environmental science, engineering, sustainability, or a related discipline).
- You have a minimum of five (5) years of experience as an environmental Advisor.
- You have significant experience in GHG accounting, ESG reporting, or environmental management.
- You have strong knowledge of key frameworks and reporting standards, including the GHG Protocol, SASB, GRI, and emerging regulatory requirements such as SB-253 and CSRD.
- You have experience in environmental data management, analysis, and assurance.
- You have good understanding of decarbonization challenges, environmental markets, and mechanisms such as Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), and carbon markets (SPEDE) (considered an asset).
- You have knowledge of Enablon and ISO 14001 (considered an asset).
- You have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical solutions, as well as consolidate information at a global level.
- You have excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- You are bilingual: French and English.
