What are your contributions to the team?
As a Graphic Designer / Photographer, you will create high-quality visual solutions from concept to final execution for both digital and print media, as well as photography needs. You will work independently on your projects while collaborating closely with creative producers, designers, motion designers, videographers, and internal stakeholders within the Brand Studio.
Your responsibilities:
- Design and produce high-quality graphic assets for digital and print applications, while adhering to Bombardier’s brand standards.
- Create layouts, mockups, visual concepts, professional presentations, storyboards, and style frames.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute photo shoots for marketing campaigns, events, executive portraits, products, facilities, and branded content.
- Retouch, color-correct, and optimize images for various communication channels.
- Support motion design and video production projects through graphic elements, photography, and other visual assets.
- Adapt and repurpose creative content for multiple platforms, formats, and distribution channels.
- Collaborate with creative producers and internal stakeholders to translate project objectives into effective visual solutions and incorporate feedback.
- Work with videographers, editors, and designers during production and post-production phases.
- Maintain and manage image libraries, photo archives, and Brand Studio project files.
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality, branding, print, and technical standards.
- Manage multiple projects independently, meet deadlines, and follow Brand Studio approval and governance processes.
- Maintain organized files and deliverables within Asana and contribute to operational efficiency by maximizing internal capabilities.
How to thrive in this role?
- You have 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role combining graphic design and professional photography.
- You have a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in digital and print design, photography, and visual storytelling.
- You are proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Lightroom.
- You have expertise in digital photography as well as studio and on-location lighting techniques.
- You possess a strong understanding of typography, layout, composition, lighting, and brand systems.
- You have a solid understanding of offset and digital printing processes.
- You have experience with motion design projects and a basic knowledge of HTML for web assets (an asset).
- You can independently manage projects from concept to final delivery in a structured corporate environment.
- You have strong attention to detail, a collaborative mindset, a keen interest in design trends, and a solution-oriented approach.
- You have experience in an in-house studio, agency environment, or the defense industry (an asset).
- You can communicate effectively in both French and English.
