What are your contributions to the team?

 

As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will collaborate with the employees and managers to ensure a value-added human resources contribution in order to meet the strategic and operational objectives. You will participate in the design, development and implementation of strategic and tactical solutions, such as:

  • Support the delivery and deployment of human resources programs and processes, such as performance management, compensation, annual leadership review, engagement employee survey and skills development. 
  • Coach and support the managers in the areas of relations with employee and the union, as well during workforce planning, recruitment, compensation, organizational development, performance and change management and various communications. 
  • Apply and interpret the collective agreement and the labor laws, participate in grievance and conflict resolution and the improvement of organizational climate.
  • Coach, advise and collaborate with the managers to help them achieve their goals and those related to human capital development by defining, among other things, the issues in terms of HR development and organizational development and by leading the analysis and diagnosis of customer needs.
  • Ensure the implementation of alignments and philosophy of Labor Relations of Bombardier.
  • Ensure the implementation of all labor relations process.
  • Manage and perform daily HR transactions.
  • Presence is required on site
     

How to thrive in this role?

 

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in human resources or industrial relations as well as 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in HR in a unionized manufacturing environment. 
  • You have a strong labor relations foundation.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills, and you can easily communicate in the two official languages, spoken and written.
  • You have skills at influencing management.
  • You have the ability to manage several tasks and projects simultaneously and you are a team player
  • You have a high level of customer focus and are autonomous and dynamic.
  • You have a good knowledge of the suite MS Office.
