Short Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate IT Communications Advisor to join our IT Content Strategy and Communications team. In this role, you will play a central part in crafting clear, engaging, and strategic communications that support our global digital transformation initiatives, beginning with the implementation of SAP S/4HANA across the organization.

Your focus will be on creating clear, targeted communication strategies and training materials for impacted audiences, helping employees, partners, and stakeholders understand system changes, process updates, and the value they bring. You will translate complex technical information into simple, meaningful messages that support awareness, readiness, and confident adoption across Bombardier.

Working closely with the Organizational Change Management (OCM) team, Corporate Communications, and different business stakeholders, you will ensure messaging is aligned, user focused, and supports successful transformation outcomes. While you will primarily support our SAP S/4HANA program, you may also contribute to broader digital and process transformation initiatives. As a key liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and end users, you will ensure clear, timely, and effective communication throughout each project’s lifecycle.

What are your contributions to the team?

  • Lead and execute communication strategies for major digital transformation initiatives (e.g., SAP S/4HANA), providing clarity and consistency across all channels.
  • Develop and guide high quality materials such as presentations, learning content, videos, FAQs, guides, and user facing communications, ensuring clarity, consistency, and strong visual direction to support change adoption.
  • Collaborate with the Organizational Change Management team to establish clear communication channels across all levels and ensure that communications and training plans reflect user needs, change impacts, and readiness activities.
  • Maintain consistency with brand guidelines, corporate messaging, and enterprise communication standards.
  • Translate complex technical and IT concepts into simple, engaging narratives that help stakeholders understand “what’s changing,” “why it matters,” and “how to get ready.”
  • Create communication roadmaps, messaging frameworks, process overviews, personas, and content journeys that guide transformation initiatives from awareness to post go live adoption.
  • Support end to end transformation cycles, from early engagement and pre launch messaging to go live communications, reinforcement, and long term adoption.
  • Partner with transformation program leaders, subject-matter experts and business stakeholders to gather insights and ensure accuracy and relevance in all materials.
  • Promote best practices in storytelling, clarity, change communications, and content design.

How to thrive in this role?

  • You have 5+ years of experience in digital or change communications, content strategy, or a related field, supported by a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s is an asset).
  • You are highly proficient in written and verbal French and English (Spanish is an asset).
  • You excel at simplifying complex information, developing clear and engaging content, and creating training materials for specialized audiences (ideally in aerospace or manufacturing).
  • You bring experience supporting digital transformation initiatives, such as ERP/SAP projects; S/4HANA knowledge or certifications are strong assets.
  • You are proficient in using communication and collaboration tools such as Outlook, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 applications; experience with training platforms is considered an asset.
  • You are an effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills, able to influence, align, and build relationships across a matrixed organization.
  • Your portfolio demonstrates storytelling, adaptability, and contributions to large scale initiatives.
  • You are proactive, detail oriented, and thrive in fast-paced environments.

Now that you can see yourself in this role, apply and join the Bombardier Team!

Please note: You don’t need all the skills, knowledge, and experience listed to apply for this position. We’re not looking for the perfect candidate, we’re looking for great talent and passionate individuals.

Bombardier is an equal opportunity employer and encourages persons of any race, religion, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, immigration status, disability or other applicable legally protected characteristics to apply.
