What are your contributions to the team?
You will be responsible for leading the disciplined execution of strategic operational initiatives from concept through construction completion and operational go-live. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within approved budgets and fully prepared for structured handoff to operational leadership. This role is execution-driven and central to enabling successful growth and capability deployment across the organization.
- Work with and lead as required with project manager the end-to-end operational implementation of new facilities, capabilities, and strategic initiatives from concept through operational go-live.
- Ensure strict adherence to approved budgets and timelines, with full accountability for cost control, milestone management, and delivery performance.
- Translate strategic objectives into structured, executable operational plans, including workflows, resource models, and readiness criteria.
- Develop and manage integrated implementation of roadmaps aligning scope, schedule, and financial parameters.
- Define operational requirements that inform facility design, Hangar/Apron layout to meet BOE operational requirements, infrastructure planning, equipment selection, and systems integration.
- Establish and oversee operational budgets, forecasts, and cost-control mechanisms throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks impacting schedule, financial performance, or operational readiness.
- Develop and formalize operating procedures required to support launch.
- Validate operational readiness prior to go-live, ensuring processes, systems, infrastructure, and resource plans are complete and aligned.
- Lead the structured and seamless handoff of fully implemented initiatives to long-term operational leadership.
- Support operational due diligence and integration planning activities related to mergers and acquisitions, as required.
- Assist with all Bombardier stakeholder activities/actions as required concerning business plan and implementation plan actions to support project.
- Assist M&A activities as required for operational assessments and information to support business case.
- Support Director-Business development and project manager in Construction governance meetings and dashboard working directly with developer & Bombardier contracted consultants.
- Work with Bombardier 3rd party consultants thru expansion team RFP process as required thru developer bid analysis and final selection.
How to thrive in this role?
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in operations, operational implementation, facilities management.
- Experience supporting complex, multi-site operational environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong execution mindset with proven risk management capability.
- Experience managing contractors and external service providers.
- You demonstrate strong leadership presence and the ability to align cross-functional stakeholders.
- Projects delivered on schedule and within approved financial parameters.
- Clear execution ownership from concept through operational go-live.
- You demonstrate strong execution discipline and the ability to drive milestone-based delivery in high-visibility environments.
- You bring experience supporting facility development or operational capability launches.
- You are highly organized, results-oriented and capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- No operational readiness gaps at launch.
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% (up to 10% international).
