Our team

Lois de Commande/ Stabilité et Contrôle - CLaws/S&C est responsable d'effectuer les analyses des caractéristiques de vol afin d'assurer la qualité de la manœuvrabilité de l'avion. Les activités clefs sont la conception, le développement et la vérification des commandes de vol électriques (Fly-by-Wire - FBW) pour la prochaine génération des avions Bombardier. Ainsi, l’équipe contribue au développement de tous les avions, qu’ils soient nouveaux, modifiés ou dérivés. Enfin, elle soutient le maintien de la navigabilité des avions en service. L'équipe S&C participe activement aux activités d'essais en vol et interagit étroitement avec les organismes de réglementation pour assurer la sécurité et la conformité aux exigences de navigabilité.

 

During your internship, you will contribute to:

  • Develop and implement in Matlab/Simulink control laws tools.
  • Run simulations and analyze data using the implemented techniques within the flight control laws algorithms.

Develop design and analysis codes, prepare professional PowerPoint presentations and document the work performed in an official technical Bombardier memo.

What we are looking for an individual who:

  • is currently completing a master’s degree or PhD in Aerospace or Control Systems Engineering
  • is proficient in Simulink advanced modeling.
  • has basic knowledge of C and C++ programming.
  • has basic knowledge of of MATLAB programming.
  • is familiar control techniques.
  • understands the basics of aircraft flight dynamics and flight control systems.

  • Duration: 8 months
  • Flexible workplace-Hybrid

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
