Our team is planning and inventory management for the spare parts of business jets

During your internship, you will contribute to and will learn to :

  • Work with the planning and inventory management teams as well as our technical team composed of a data engineer and scientist to build dashboards surrounding demand as well as forecast models of spare part demand.
  • Create or improve Power BI Dashboards that are used to:
    • Build storytelling to provide leadership team with a holistic view of our process health in order to apply the accurate recovery plan.
    • To help teams detect anomalies in stock management & planning.
  • Work side by side with current inventory control analyst to:
    • Improve and automate existing inventory governance tools to provide better visibility into daily and monthly inventory level and variances to budget.
    • Limit the manual workload.
  • Develop a set of tools within Power BI to enhance communication with our suppliers around planning expectations and collaborative forecasting.

How to thrive in this role?

***The candidate must be located in Montreal, available full-time for the 8 months of the internship and must maintain a student status throughout the entire duration of the internship***

  • 2nd year master’s degree in business intelligence or any other equivalent field of study.
  • Have a strong interest in data transformation and business intelligence.
  • Have strong skills in the use of data visualization tool such a Tableau and Power BI.
  • Speak and write in French and English. 
  • Are autonomous and have resourceful spirit
  • Have good communication skills.
  • Have good ability to learn and adapt.

  • Duration: 8 months (with extension possibility according to certain criteria)

 

All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
