Our team… 

You will be part of the EWIS Wiring Design Engineering team. As part of the Engineering Team, you will contribute to the design of the Electrical Wiring Integration System (EWIS) in the Digital Mock-Up (DMU) or Wiring Diagrams for Harness Data Reports and contribute by participating to other tasks depending on program needs and demonstrating flexibility to adapt

 

During your internship, you will contribute to:

  • The design of electrical harnesses
  • Support the change management
  • Learn the conception of the harness (WD, HDR, Installation)
  • Investigate and solve configuration issue

 

At the end of your internship, you will understand :

  • The conception/manufacturing of a 7500 harness
  • The configuration vs customers’ requirements
  • The change management link with the « ask » of the cotusmer

 

What we are looking for:

  • You speak French and English 
  • You are undertaking a university degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
  • You have knowledge of MCAD or ECAD software tools; Capital or NX would be a real plus
  • You are familiar with Microsoft Excel (VBA), Word, Project and Access
  • You are autodidact
  • You have a strong interest for programming, project management, change management and electrical wiring in aerospace.

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
