Our Team

At DIO we work on applications which help improve user experience and overall ecosystem around Bombardier Jets. As a DevOps intern you will be helping maintaining good performance of these applications from start to finish in SDLC.

What are your contributions to the team?

· Support the design and implementation of CICD pipelines

· Assist in supporting AWS cloud issues

· Collaborate with engineers and analysts to improve deployment cycle of Digital Products

· Help develop and maintain components of cloud-based applications

· Participate in troubleshooting and optimizing data workflows

· Contribute to documentation and adoption of best practices in data engineering

· Learn and apply modern tools and technologies in cloud and Digital products

How to thrive in this role?

· Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field

· Basic knowledge of Python , AI cost management and Git workflow

· Understanding DevSecOps concepts like CICD, Security etc.

· Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an asset

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Good communication and teamwork abilities

· Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment of application development

· Experience with version control (Git) and basic software development practices

· Knowledge of data visualization especially to improve application performance

· Interest in application development with security practices

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
