What are your contributions to the team?
- Work within the Advanced Structures engineering department of Bombardier;
- Help develop models and tools to process an innovative aircraft structure;
- Complete and analyze available data concerning similar existing structures
- Create the documentation (procedures and methodologies) for the development of this new aircraft;
- Support the first phase of development for the structural aspect with standard analysis tools, for instance, finite element analysis;
- Begin the production of the deliverables required for this first development phase
How to thrive in this role?
- You are enrolled in a mechanical engineering degree with some coding experience
- You are familiar with python coding (Python 3.0+) and object-oriented programming methods
- You have an experience with Nastran (Siemens NX, Altair OptiStruct, MSC)
- Or at least an another finite element software suite
- You have basic knowledge of MS Office; Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- You are autonomous, result-driven and enthusiastic with strong work ethic
