What are your contributions to the team?

Our team is responsible for the development of the structural analysis tools used on our Global & Challenger business aircraft.

 

During your internship, you will contribute to…

 

  • Work within Bombardier’s Advanced Structures Engineering team, collaborating with multidisciplinary experts (aerostructures, performance, systems, fatigue & damage tolerance).
  • Develop, structure, and integrate modular libraries enabling the creation of aircraft‑specific mission definitions (sets of flight profiles, loads, durations, operational sequences, etc.).
  • Actively participate in solving technical and architectural challenges, proposing innovative solutions to enhance the tool’s performance, robustness, and maintainability.
  • Design and develop a graphical user interface (GUI) that coherently integrates all developed functionalities and modules to facilitate use by engineers and analysts.

 

How to thrive in this role?

What we are looking for… 

 

  • You are enrolled in a computer science or mechanical engineering degree.
  • You are familiar with python coding (Python 3.0 and over).
  • You are familiar with C++, C# and Visual Studio suite is a plus.
  • You have experience with software application testing and debugging
  • You are knowledgeable of object-oriented programming methods.
  • You are autonomous, result-driven and enthusiastic with strong work ethic.
  • You are available for an extension or a longer internship (8 month)
