What are your contributions to the team?
- Work to improve the databases in place used to index information used to support the fleet of Bombardier business aircraft within the customer support engineering group
- Create and improve virtual tables using the Power BI suite (Microsoft)
- Work in collaboration with engineers to improve processes related to the use of databases
- Create and improve tools or processes to facilitate work and research for the customer support engineering department
- Use your initiative and judgment to see to the implementation of integrated solutions with other databases in place
- Organize investigations into the problems of the current databases, determine the causes and propose solution
How to thrive in this role?
- You have completed your second year of computer and software engineering degree.
- You are motivated and demonstrate an interest in continuous improvement and programming.
- You have knowledge of MS office software (including Access) with advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Knowledge of Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) and Power BI would be an asset
- You have good oral and written communication skills in French and English.
- You have a good understanding of basic networking concepts and the Windows environment
