What are your contributions to the team?

- Write Standard Part Requirements Documents (B-Specs) following established aerospace industry practices (Mechanical and Electrical).

- Opportunity to interact with national/international Standards component manufacturers and Bombardier internal departments.
- Participate in the qualification of standard components (Mechanical and Electrical) through the review and evaluation of test procedures and reports. New Product Development (NPD) and Legacy aircrafts.
- Update/maintain Standard Part Equivalencies within Bombardier Tools (SAP, Team Center)
- Support the maintenance of Standard component drawings (Mechanical and Electrical) and process manuals which have been incorporated into the creation, review and approval cycle.
- Support/author Bombardier Manuals (BMs)
- Write Bombardier Aerospace Process Specifications (BAPS), communicate with Bombardier production departments and national/international manufacturers.
- Contribute to the team’s scope/time management by assigning/follow up commitments on a weekly basis. Discuss/present status to team/leadership.
How to thrive in this role?

- You are an university student in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering with an interest in Aerospace Installations/Systems and Industry Standards (MIL, SAE, ASTM, NAFEMS)

- You are bilingual, written and spoken – English and French.
- You are a team player keen to support/assist others and aggregate to the team environment.
- You can build and maintain effective and fruitful working relationships with others.
- You are flexible and feel at ease to navigate in a fast paced environment.
- You are succinct and can express ideas clearly, both orally and in writing.
- You have an interest in project management (scope/time/budget) aspects for aerospace projects

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
