Team Description:

Internship experience team focuses a lot on the development of our interns during their internship. We also believe that you can still work productively and have fun, which is why we have reoccurring coffee breaks and team building activities. We are looking for someone to join our team! 

 

What are your contributions to the team?

  • Manage events, activities, and conferences for interns during their internship 
  • Interact with interns through various activities in order to ameliorate the overall internship experience 
  • Participate in improving projects and documentation for best practices 
  • Analyze surveys and put into action recommendations 
  • Participate in projects in relation to diversity and inclusion (D&I) 
  • Manage the “Women in Engineering” program in partnership with D&I 
  • Support the team with their visibility on campus 
  • Interact, train and support managers throughout the internship program 

During your internship, you will learn:

  • To get out of your comfort zone through public speaking opportunities 
  • To be organized and think ahead of time 
  • To use many of the Microsoft 0365 tools in order to communicate with others 
  • To allow yourself to develop even more through different opportunities that arise 

How to thrive in this role?

  • You are enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications  
  • You have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office O365   
  • You are a great team player and possess good interpersonal skills  
  • You have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in both official languages (English and French)  
  • You are thorough and meticulous and have rigorous work ethics  
  • You are organized and well structured  
  • You have a positive outlook and an approachable demeanor  
  • You are creative and proactive in problem solving  
  • You can maintain strict confidentiality when require

  • Location: Administrative Centre (CA)
  • Duration: 8 months
  • Virtual or on site 

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
