What are your contributions to the team?
As part of your internship, you will contribute to:
Analyzing operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
Working on projects aimed at implementing improvements to optimize production processes.
Participating in and/or creating business cases for operational excellence initiatives in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams (production, quality, logistics, finance).
Structuring the scope, launch, and follow-up of a project.
Bringing stakeholders together and aligning the cross-functional team toward a common goal.
Coordinating actions as part of your project management responsibilities in collaboration with the various teams.
Simplifying and documenting your project strategies and solutions.
Creating presentations and communicating your project status to stakeholders and leadership during executive reviews.
Making strategic recommendations to support the company’s objectives.
Working with a cross-functional team (Engineering, Methods, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Production, Quality).
Understanding the technical parameters and performance indicators of your project (e.g., cycle time, response time, capacity, etc.).
During your internship, you will learn:
How to use continuous improvement tools (Lean, Kaizen, 5S, etc.).
How to develop your project management and cross-functional communication skills.
How to actively participate in field improvement workshops.
How to structure and lead initiatives in an industrial environment.
How to thrive in this role?
What we are looking for:
You are familiar with continuous improvement or Lean Manufacturing principles.
You are enrolled in a university program in industrial engineering, operations management, or a related field.
You are proficient with Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
You have an analytical mindset, are proactive, dynamic, resourceful, and enjoy working in a team.
You can speak and write in French (English is an asset).

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
