What are your contributions to the team?

  • Design and perform rapid prototyping of Flight Deck Human Machine Interfaces 
  • Integrate the prototyping into test rigs
  • Usability assessment of Flight Deck components, displays and interactive controls (on site and remote testing)
  • Perform task analysis and crew error analysis.

How to thrive in this role?

  • You are familiar with user centered design process and have prototyping and graphical design skills.
  • You are enrolled in Industrial Design, Psychology, Computer Science, Engineering or Graphic Design undergraduate degree or graduate degree.
  • You have knowledge in rapid prototyping tools (such as Figma) and basic UI-UX concept rules
  • You have an interest in pursuing a graduate degree in Human Factors, Ergonomics or Human Computer Interaction or equivalent.
  • You speak and write in English and French

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
