What are your contributions to the team?

•    Monitor Senate and House of Commons committee activities; compile and deliver weekly summaries highlighting key updates and implications. 
•    Maintain a comprehensive stakeholder contact list and association membership database. 
•    Support the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards to track engagement metrics and policy outcomes. 
•    Produce monthly and quarterly reports on stakeholder activity and engagement results. 
•    Improve integration between Power BI, Outlook, and SharePoint for streamlined reporting. 
•    Source and summarize media and AI-generated insights on relevant policy topics twice weekly. 
•    Maintain and organize SharePoint archives for government affairs documentation. 

How to thrive in this role?

•    You are enrolled in a university program in political science, public administration, international relations, communications, or a related field. 
•    You have strong understanding of the Canadian political system and public policy landscape. 
•    You have experience in research, reporting, and stakeholder communications. 
•    You are comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced environments. 
•    Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset. 
•    Familiarity with tools like Power BI, SharePoint, Outlook, and Asana is an asset. 
•    Experience with social media monitoring is an asset.

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
