During your internship, you will contribute to:

  • Assist in Bombardier’s recruitment process:
    - Needs Analysis: Join discussions with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to understand hiring needs.
    - Resume Screening: Review resumes and shortlist qualified candidates.
    - Phone Screening: Conduct phone interviews with internal and external applicants.
    - Interview Coordination: Schedule and organize interviews for internal and external candidates (both in-person and virtual).
    - Background Checks: Launch backcheck paperwork for internal and external candidates.
    - Onboarding Follow-up: Follow up with candidates to complete new hire paperwork.
    - Send first-day reporting instructions to selected candidates
  • Use external sourcing sites, such as LinkedIn Recruiter, to identify and attract passive candidates from different regions.
  • Maintain ongoing contact with potential candidates and provide follow-up regarding the recruitment process.
  • Continuously update our ATS - applicant tracking system (SuccessFactors) with comments and steps.
  • Use SAP and B-Talent (SuccessFactors) to look up employee files for HR verification details etc.
  • Participate and discuss in weekly governance meetings with HRBP’s and Hiring Managers (on talent pipeline and status of recruitment process).
  • Ensure that selected candidates complete the onboarding process in a timely manner, including contacting them after accepting the offer for paperwork.
  • Collect external talent data/intelligence for various business units and share useful insights.
  • Prepare various reports, charts, and correspondence using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Participate in Bombardier's recruitment events, whether on-site, off-site, or virtual.
  • Support the Talent Acquisition team with various administrative tasks and projects as needed.

During your internship, you will learn:

•    To use recruitment applications and software, such SAP, SuccessFactors, LinkedIn Recruiter and a variety of Job Boards (Indeed , JS Firm etc.).
•    To develop skills in project management, communication, and interpersonal relations.
•    To participate in developing recruitment strategies and managing relationships with candidates. 
•    To participate in recruitment events, both on-site and online.

What we are looking for:

  • You are currently enrolled in a university program studying in Human Resources, Management, or Business.
  • You have excellent oral and written communication skills, Bilingualism is preferred (English and French).
  • You have good knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • You are a self-motivated team player with a positive outlook, flexible and an approachable demeanor.
  • You are able to maintain strict confidentiality when required.
  • You can work 32 to 40 hours per week.
  • You can respect timelines and can manage multiple projects, while remaining calm in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are eager to learn and develop professionally.

  • Location: Montreal, Quebec, Office site: 400 Boulevard Cote Vertu Ouest, Dorval, Quebec H4S 1Y9 .
  • Duration: 8, 12 or 16 months.
  • Hybrid – on site and virtual (2 days in the office and 3 days remote).
