Internship in Loads and Dynamics Analysis Tool Development
What are your contributions to the team?
- Assist in aeroelastic analysis: support the team in analyzing the static aeroelastic response of the aircraft and compare the results between different methodologies.
- Database creation and management: contribute to the development of database of flight loads maneuvers.
- Tools development for visualization: develop a tool with a graphical user interface to interact with the loads database and to visualize the loads distribution on the various components of the aircraft.
- Documentation and reporting: help prepare detailed reports and documentation, ensuring all information is clear and accurate for regulatory and engineering review.
- Software Utilization: Learn and use specialized software tools for aeroelastic analysis and simulation, gaining hands-on experience with industry-standard applications.
During your internship, you will learn…
- Understanding of aeroelastic analysis: Gain a deep understanding of how to analyze and calculate static aircraft aeroelastic deformation.
- Practical Application of Engineering Principles: Apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios, enhancing problem-solving skills and engineering acumen.
- Collaboration and Communication Skills: Improve teamwork and communication and presentation abilities.
- Regulatory and Safety Standards: Learn about the regulatory requirements and safety standards that govern aircraft design and operation, ensuring compliance and safety in engineering practices.

- You are studying in aeronautics / aerospace or mechanical engineering
- You have good programming skills and are fluent in Matlab or Python
- You have strong analytical skills, and you are independent
- You are also a team player who proactively proposes solutions and improvements
- You are fluent in English (spoken and written)
- You have strong knowledge of Office suite
- You convey complex ideas simply through written reports and presentation materials

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
