What are your contributions to the team?
• Support development of features using C++
• Work primarily with Unreal Engine Blueprints to prototype and implement features or UI logic
• Assist in testing, debugging and optimizing code
• Collaborate with the team to improve the experience of the application.
• Uses initiative and judgment in determining the intent of a feature or instruction, researching, proposing solutions, resolving problems, and analyzing data.
• Participates in solving issues by using a variety of recognized techniques
• Plans and organizes assigned work based on priorities
• Results are reviewed in detail and technical guidance is available
• Executes basic tasks and assignments under supervision
• Supports special projects including defining and executing plans
• Participates in reviews and provides status for basic projects
• Works within a team to achieve common objectives
• Communicates and collaborates with co-workers about feature implementations
• Receives technical, conceptual and administrative direction from more experienced team members
How to thrive in this role?
• You have a project portfolio or
• You are Working toward Certificate or collegial degree in programming for video games, or relevant work experience an asset
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of Studying in a relevant program
• Strong understanding of C++
• Familiarity with Unreal Engine’s Blueprints system
• Experience with Unreal Engine, or other 3d game engines
• Ability to program logic for 3D environments (movement, collisions, shaders…)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Other nice to have skils
• Knowledge on Python and/or Javascript
• Experience with VR development (MetaQuest, SteamVR, Apple Vision Pro)
• Helix Core or other versioning control software

- Location: Completion Center
- Duration: 4 months
- Virtual or on site
It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
