During your internship, you will learn:

  • Project planning and governance.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Data analysis and automation of data collection.
  • Customs, transportation, warehousing, supply chain knowledge.
  • Certifications: CTPAT, PIP, CSA.
  • Knowledge of commercial contracts.
  • About the aeropsace industry.

What are your contributions to the team?

  • Work on information analysis, contract review, impact assessment, non-disclosure agreement.
  • Develop presentations for different levels of hierarchy.
  • Develop reporting automation tools to provide real-time data.
  • Customs tariff classification report creation, database.
  • Improve key processes in the Customs team.
  • Collaborate with different business partners for project implementation.
  • Contact suppliers for certificates of origin, CTPAT questionnaire.
  • Visit our plants for auditing purposes for CTPAT, PIP compliance.
  • Arrange appointments with service providers and/or different business partners.

How to thrive in this role?

  • Must be enrolled in a post-secondary program (university, CEGEP) such as business adminstration, supply chain management, or similar.
  • You need to be dynamic, proactive and enjoy challenges.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of international trade, customs.
  • You have a strong interest in project management, improvement of aeronautics business processes.
  • You must be able to work independently.
  • You have intermediate working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Office 365.
  • You are able to work effectively in English and French on a daily basis.
  • You are able to work on-site at one of our Montreal facilities at least two (2) days per week, sometimes more, as per the applicable policy.

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
