What are your contributions to the team?

Our team is responsible for the development and operation of the Aircraft Health Management System (AHMS) network across our fleet of Global and Challenger business jets.

 

During your internship, you will contribute to…

    Perform sustaining tasks to maintain system connectivity in service
    Use AHMS tools to assess fleet health and system alerts
    Validate communication settings and data transmission.
    Track system performance metrics and compare against baselines
    Investigate system faults and snags with suppliers and stakeholders
    Develop a troubleshooting plan for connected aircraft and maintain logs
    Collaborate with various specialists within Bombardier to explore, collect and analyze information
    Support AHMS team members on various projects related to aircraft systems
    Perform system tests and validation on an engineering work bench
    Participate in meetings and support the team in day-to-day engagement in special projects

How to thrive in this role?

What we are looking for…

    You are enrolled in a program in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer or Software Engineering 
    You have a keen interest in troubleshooting systems
    You have excellent communication (verbal & written) and leadership skills, with the ability to work in a team environment and independently
    You have an assertive personality, and are detail oriented with great organizational skills
    You speak and write in English (very good) and French (very good)
