What are your contributions to the team?
- Report directly to the G7500/8000 Head of Aircraft Design
- Act as Technical Deputy of the Head of Aircraft Design
- Lead activities at the aircraft level such as:
- Cross functional investigations
- Develop & harmonize action plans for product improvements, issues & risks.
- Co-Chairs change board and is responsible for the completeness of the proposed solutions
- Be responsible for the aircraft level requirements (D&O & ARD), and, design and performance margins of design changes under the purview of the Platform
- Work in conjunction with the Functional Directors and Fellows to ensure the appropriate level of support is available to meet the priorities.
- Act as the Applicant in design change activities
- Ensure compliance to the platform specific Development Assurance processes at Aircraft Level
How to thrive in this role?
As our ideal candidate:
- You have a University Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering.
- You possess a minimum of 15 years’ experience in aircraft design and integration
- You have knowledge of the type certification process, the corrective action process, and the procedures of the Design Approval Organization
- Possesses advanced knowledge in a specific field and a breadth of knowledge of many aircraft systems
