What are your contributions to the team?
- Establishing and monitoring the achievement of production objectives by planning, organizing, motivating, and coordinating the activities of a team responsible for maintaining Bombardier’s various sites (St-Laurent and Dorval locations);
- Managing your team’s budget, ensuring the quality of services and products, and overseeing employee productivity (approximately 20 employees);
- Providing employees with a healthy and safe work environment, implementing an HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) management plan, and serving as a role model in HSE practices;
- Identifying, documenting, and standardizing key processes that contribute to achieving objectives, and sharing best practices across the organization;
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives, particularly through the use of problem-solving processes;
- Maintaining a strong understanding of applicable collective bargaining agreements and fostering positive labor relations with the union;
- Demonstrating leadership in alignment with Bombardier’s vision and values;
- Coaching and developing your team to build talent within the organization.
How to thrive in this role?
- You possess strong management skills and ideally have extensive experience in the aerospace industry;
- You have a university degree, college diploma, or equivalent experience;
- Your values and vision align with the company’s philosophy;
- You are proficient in both French and English;
- You are able to work effectively under tight deadlines;
- You have a general knowledge of manufacturing systems;
- You are skilled in managing unionized employees.
